Birth Control Nonsense

Although a contraceptive is referred to as 'birth control', this does not represent the only meaning or purpose it has. Birth control can be used as preventing pregnancy or family and financial planning, but it is also used for other medical purposes. Some women use this contraceptive to help prevent ovarian cysts, help relieve intense menstrual cycles and symptoms, and help prevent diseases. With this being said, the new Obama care health system should require all companies to provide birth control included insurance policies regardless of religious belief or affiliation. Places like Hobby Lobby and Chick Filet would like to be exempt from Obama Care similar to places like OSF. This should not be happening just because of religion. Although we have freedom of religion, that does not mean one's religion should effect others in such a vital way. Women's health is just as important and what women do with their health and bodies should not be dictated by an employer. Not only is health legitimate, but many companies or insurances would ultimately save more money by providing free contraceptives. Many women can relate to this. Studies have shown that when it comes to the religion factor, approximately 98% of Catholic women do or have used some form of birth control. That seems to be a double standard. If religion is a main reason as to why companies should not provide it for their employees, then why are so many Catholic women using it then? If people who are not as religious should not get it for free, then why are the religious people the ones using it just as much?
